Christmas was in the air down at Laigh Bent, but the focus of the Wee Bulls was on their match’s against a combined Paisley and Lanark team.
Again working together with the P6 squad, we played host three great competitive games of rugby.
Game one saw a really solid performance from the Bulls, with the greater experience of the squad shining through. Some great individual performances and fantastic team work led to a convincing win.
Game two was much closer, with Lanark/Paisley putting together some great phases of play. The kicking of one of the Lanark players was a joy to behold, spotting gaps in the Bulls defence and creating scoring opportunities. The Bulls ran out winners in this really entertaining match.
Game three to round off a great day allowed the Bulls to display some great individual skills and strong tackilng.
Overall it was a great morning of rugby, with lots of happy players having played lots of rugby in a very competitive but also very sporting manner.
Hearing a Bulls player checking his opponent was ok after a particularly strong tackle really stood out as it shows that the ethos of being a Bull is strong amongst this group of players.

After the game, this week’s captain, Luis, had this to say.
“We did really good playing with the P6s and everyone was involved. We made some good runs, good offloads and some decent tackles. Even though they had some good players from the opposite team, we still won all three games which I think we are all super chuffed about. We were good at both defending and attacking while we were playing. Hope we can keep this up,
