I am delighted to confirm that Shannon Goundry has been chosen as a Royal Bank Young Ambassador for Hamilton Rugby Club after successfully applying for the programme.
 
Shannon’s application impressed the Royal Bank and Scottish Rugby panel with her enthusiasm, dedication to our club and her passion to drive positive change within their community.
 
What is the Royal Bank Young Ambassador programme?
 
The new initiative for 2021 offered 10 Young Ambassadors in Scotland the chance to support the future of their local rugby clubs by helping to get enthusiastic young volunteers engaged at committee level. Young Ambassadors will receive digital support and virtual mentoring to aid their development and help further their club’s progress. Training will cover social media marketing, sponsorship, fundraising and finance.

Shannon will now be given a seat at the table of our committee providing her the opportunity to learn and develop as a leader at our club.
 
The Young Ambassador programme will also allow the ambassadors to experience fantastic behind-the-scenes extras at BT Murrayfield.
