Sunday 28th August saw Hamilton Rugby Youth Section host their Annual Open Day. The sun shone from the outset, providing the perfect backdrop for young people to come along and try something new. The atmosphere throughout the club was brilliant thanks to the excited and happy kids that are the Future at Leigh Bent.
The young players were treated to personal appearances from members of the Senior Team, who gave away some of their trade secrets in preparation for the first Mini Games kicking off next weekend.

After training, Drew Hind and the Senior Players delivered some rugby activities to the young bulls whilst they waited for the showcase match Hamilton U16s V Whitecraigs U16s.

Our mini’s provided a spectacular Guard of Honour for the first time, showing support for the U16s at their home ground. Despite the final score, Hamilton was supported by a large number of parents and players who remained at the club to offer their raucous support!

With new youth players signing up on the spot, and Oor Nick giving an approving smile, we would like to thank everyone involved in making the day a huge success.
