Hamilton Rugby Club is delighted to announce that the honour of being the mascot for our 1XV game against Newton Stewart is CJ McMahon who are part of our P6 team.
CJ, who is 10 years old loves being part of the #BullsFamily. He enjoys playing the sport he loves, learning new skills and has made friends for life. Nick's hot dogs and chips are also a big plus for CJ playing at Hamilton!
When talking with CJ about his favourite players, he highlighted Rob Harley as his favourite professional players. Talking about his favourite Bulls players, Scoot Alexander stands out as his favourite.
CJ will lead the team out for the 1XV's Tennent's National 2 encounter with Newton Stewart kicking off at 2pm, more match details can be found here.
Mascots are selected at random from nominated youth members or children associated with Club Members and must be aged between 5 and 12. If you would like to nominate your child for the mascot role on Saturday 11th of January against Preston Lodge, please email David Vickers, Hamilton Rugby Club Youth Convenor with your nomination. Please include a current profile picture of the child, a little bit about why they want to be a mascot and information about their interest in rugby including favourite players.
Have a great day CJ!
