The information given from the club last night was based on the information available to the response group at that time including current guidance from SRU, NHS and Public Health. The club response and advice were in line with this process and based on the information we had at that time. The view was that everyone with possible links should be informed.

As expected, further information has been obtained from the SRU and on closer inspection of bubble make up and time lines we are able to review our assessment of who may be at potential risk. The advice below was sent to players this afternoon, Tuesday 22nd September 2020.

Those of you who trained on Main pitch, group 1 on Thursday 17th of September, are potentially at increased risk. The advice for these players is still to follow the test and protect guidance. All other players should still be aware and if the develop any symptoms should take advice from www.nhsinform.scot and also advise the club.

“If you are a contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid 19 then you will be notified by the NHS Test and Trace system via text message, email or phone. If you are notified, please follow the guidance in this document closely.”

“If you have not been notified that you are a contact, this means that you do not need to self-isolate and should follow the general guidance for example social distancing, hand washing and covering coughs and sneezes.”

If you were not involved in this group and on this date, the guidance is that you are not required to self isolate. Everyone should be mindful of the current additional measures within North and South Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow and Clyde. These can be found here:
