BBoB (Beer Bellies on Bikes) is a collection of friends and former Hamilton Rugby Club players who have hung up their boots and donned the Lycra to do something of value and raise money for charities which are close to them.
This year, inspired by a recently retired colleague who has personal experience of the effects of blood cancers, they are collecting for the Anthony Nolan Trust, a charity which raises awareness & supports research into blood cancers.
The route this year sets off from Hamilton to the Isle of Bute & through Argyll via Oban to new territory in Colonsay, returning by Islay.
In the last 10 years they have raised over £70,000 for various charities and causes which I’m sure you will agree is a huge figure!
Cycling & rattling the tins this year are David Graham, Dave Law, George Currie, Jack Ryan & Craig Thomson.
Good Luck Guys!
