We welcomed Dumfries Saints and Currie Chieftains to Laigh Bent this morning and both teams showed some great skills in attack and defence.
Our first match against Currie was a tough shift, with our line speed and organisation fully tested. Some individual bursts of skill from the Wee Bulls were a sight to behold.
The Chieftains ran out comfortable winners, but even in defeat, some valuable coaching points were identified.
Next up were Dumfries, who presented a different set of challenges. This time, our guys were faster out of the blocks. Great pressing saw the Bulls gain some territory and possession.
Our recent work around the ruck really showed, with some fantastic contests between the teams.
A great display from Dumfries saw them take the win, with the coach describing this as their best performance of the season.
Two defeats, but the team had fun and have identified areas to work on ahead of matches against East Kilbride and Ayr next weekend.
Thanks to the game coach from Dumfries who ensured that the games were played in the right spirit.
