Fabulous First Day Back

WIth the sun making an appearance, it was time for the Bulls to shine. Luis Kelly led the team out with Kenzie McPhee playing his first game for the Bulls. The winter cobwebs were blown away by an outstanding performance and teamwork. With support play, off-loads and running into space, the players showed what they have been training hard at since their last game. Heads can be held high as they left everything on the field against three fresh teams from Marr. Fantastic runs were made down the wings but when running into a bottleneck, they showed that they could off-load and spread the play out to the other wing. Forward runs were being made by all and support for each other was evident throughout all three tough games. Defensively, the Bulls moved up a level with good low tackles round the waist being made instead of playing tig. Every player should be immensely proud of themselves and excited about where their playing ability could take them. If this was the first game after a long break and they played like this, who knows what could happen by the end of the season!
