Whitecraigs Wake Up Call

With a few of the team unable to make it, 8 players traveled to Whitecraigs for two fantastic games of rugby. Initially, the team held back on the tackles lacking the belief and confidence they had what it took to match the first team of Whitecraig's P4s. With some encouragement from parents on both sides and the coaches, they slowly but surely made progress gaining confidence after scoring their first few tries.

With every player contributing equally to the games, Hamilton used their positioning to slow the game to their pace, taking control and possession at key intervals. Mid week fitness sessions clearly gave our team an advantage over Whitecraigs with the Bulls applying continued pressure despite not having subs to relieve tired legs.

Both teams finished the day with smiles on their faces congratulating each other on a well matched performance assisted by excellent game coaching from the Whitecraigs referee.
