Meet your game day mascot Greig

Hamilton Rugby Club is delighted to announce that the honour of being the mascot for our 1XV game against Falkirk is Greig Stirling who are part of our P1 team.

Grieg, who is 5 years old loves being part of the #BullsFamily. He loves rugby and really enjoys being a bull. Greig can't wait until he gets to P4 so he can start tackling!

When talking with Greig about his favourite players, he highlighted Greig Laidlaw as his favourite professional players. Greig likes to kick the ball and says he is a better kicker than the current All Blacks kicker, Richie Mo'unga! Talking about his favourite Bulls players, Andy Wilson stands out as his favourite. Greig was going to pick his dad as his favourite player but it's been a long time since his last game.

Greig will lead the team out for the 1XV's Tennent's National 2 encounter with Falkirk kicking off at 2pm, more match details can be found here.

Mascots are selected at random from nominated youth members or children associated with Club Members and must be aged between 5 and 12. If you would like to nominate your child for the mascot role on Saturday 7th of December against Newton Stewart, please email David Vickers, Hamilton Rugby Club Youth Convenor with your nomination. Please include a current profile picture of the child, a little bit about why they want to be a mascot and information about their interest in rugby including favourite players.

Have a great day Grieg!

Poppy, Ruaridh, David and James loved their match day experiences, our 1XV really made their day! Would you like to be part of our 1st XV match days?
