Hamilton stepped up within minutes of the start, Callum Harris scoring under the posts then converted by Gregor Peters, second try came shortly thereafter, the ball being passed through the hands of the team until Aaron Buckley burst through numerous tackles until he handed the ball off to Callum Harris who had little work left to put it over the line, then converted by Gregor Peters again.
A throw in deep into the Bulls half produced try number three, Jake Glass put the ball in from the throw, Aaron Smith to Gregor Peters and into the hands of Callum Harris who ran the length of the park to place it down. It took until the 27th minute for the next try, Great teamwork, Hard pressed in the middle of the park for a time the Bulls pressed through to gain yard after yard until the ball was passed wide to Craig Cherrie who strolled in for our try again ably converted by Gregor Peters. Almost on the stroke of half time Ryan Inglis burst through the line with a practised drill from training, shrugged off a couple of tries and ran the length of the park for our fifth try of the half, converted again by Gregor Peters.
End of first half.....Highland 4-19 Hamilton
From the off Craig Cherrie ran the length of the park, unfortunately he was tackled on the line as he was about to touch down and knocked the ball on, within minutes the Bulls managed to score a try by Callum Harris ....converted by Ryan Inglis. Highland fought back with a try and conversion of their own after hard work in the middle of the park. From the off the Bulls passed the ball through the field for a run in by Callum Harris, unfortunately the wind fought against the ball to halt our conversion.
Twenty minutes into the second half the Bulls continue to exert their dominance of the game with another try and conversion. Highland fight back with a try down the line and under the posts, successfully converted, a minute or two later and Highland run in another try but unfortunately cant convert.
With eight minutes to go the Bulls dig deep with a hard fought contest in the middle of the park sees them take control of the ball, Gregor Peters scores with Lewis Irwin scoring the conversion on his first game after a lengthy absence due to injury....Welcome back Lewis!! From the off at the kick of the ball the Bulls march up the park, Christopher Lee taking the ball over the line for another try.
Superb play from the Bulls who dominated the game from the start, great teamwork from all the boys involved.
