Cambuslang v Hamilton 4/2/18
Narrow loss but moral victory
Despite having 8 players 'loaned' to the U15 team the U14's travelled to Cambuslang Rugby with a 21 player squad ensuring that everyone in the squad had competitive rugby.
A few of the boys were a bit weary after seeing their opponents but once the game got started the young Bulls realised that even big boys fall down when tackled properly, and a lot of the boys stepped up to the mark ensuring that they matched Cambuslang blow for blow, sometimes quite literally.
Cambuslang were eventual winners by a converted try, but given the number of Hamilton players who have played for less than 6 months the young Bulls can be proud of the effort and skill shown b them.
A few moments to savour from the match -
Blair Wann got his first taste of competitive rugby, having only trained for two weeks.
BILAAL JAVEED had a great run down the wing, narrowly missing a try when tackled into touch, and he didn't break his leg.
Gregor Peters & Callum Harris scored gret individual tries
Ryan Inglis & Kyle Davidson both had their best match to date
AARON BURGEES continued to lead the forwards and had another outstanding game
