The grassroots partnership between Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Rugby is aimed to help clubs become more sustainable and attract new members. Over 120 clubs in Scotland were rewarded with grants of £200 or £1,000. Ten of those clubs were joined on the Royal Bank Rugby Force Weekend by members of the current elite Scotland squad as clubs across the country bring club members and volunteers from local communities together ahead of the new season.

There was another success for the Bulls, Hamilton Rugby Club were rewarded with a grant of £1000 and had 2 members of the Scotland Squad join us for a clean-up of the Rugby Club. We also received water bottles, posters, balloons and t-shirts.

We welcomed Rory Hughes and Alex Allan, both of Glasgow Warriors and Scotland to Laigh Bent for the clean-up and had members from all parts of the club pull together to help make the place all set for the upcoming (and hopefully successful) season.
