Bulls make a donation

If you cast your mind back to April for our home game against Peebles, we advised we would be making a donation to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation from gate and raffle money. Our youth section also got involved that day by selling 'Doddie Gumps' which also were to be part of the donation.

In what was a successful day for our club, running out 45-40 winners at 'Casa Del Laigh Bent', everyone really got into the spirit of what we were trying to achieve that day.

I am delighted to confirm that we, Hamilton Rugby Club have donated £1056 to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation was created to raise funds to aid research into the causes of Motor Neurone Disease and investigate potential cures, and to make grants to individuals suffering from MND, to enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.

President Iain Leggate and Vice President Ross Whiteside both presented Graham Law, a SRU representative a cheque at our 7's tournament which is pictured below.

On receipt of our donation being received, "The Great White Shark" John Jeffrey, a trustee of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation sent us the following:-

Many thanks for the extremely kind donation which is greatly appreciated by Doddie and all the Trustees.

Doddie has vowed to try and find a cure for MND and with your and everyone’s generosity we are determined to make it happen.

Well done to all of the #BullsFamily that took part!
