Every year Hamilton Ruby Club has an annual fundraiser at the Bothwell Bridge Hotel.
The funds go towards the Club's development of the playing side Hamilton Rugby.

One of our major expenses is our full time Development Officer Alan Falconer. Al is currently delivering Rugby in all the local Primary and Secondary Schools, this work is directly responsible for a lot of Hamilton's 250 youth players age from 5 through to 18. We now have a number of players that are finding their way into regional representation and, as a result, attracting even more players into the sport.

While a lot of Clubs are struggling to keep these player into senior rugby Hamilton is bucking the trend with the highest retention rate in Scotland. That is why we are increasing our senior player capacity and, over the last few seasons, have built from three senior squads to four.

All this costs money, for equipment, additional training facilities, transport costs as well as staffing costs, By attending this event you are directly helping with the future of Hamilton Rugby Club as well as contributing to encouraging local sport, fitness and well being. This year we have secured the services of two fantastic entertainers. Impressionist Paul Reid and Comedian Joe Camey. To add to this you will get a fantastic 4 course meal with wine and well as Irish Bingo, Raffle and lots of great chat.
