Head coach David Gemmell shares his match day thoughts

This festive period brings us Bulls some tasty Tennent's National 1 fixtures, starting with a trip to Cartha QP today, before entertaining Dundee HSFP next Saturday.

Last weekend’s result didn’t really reflect our contribution to the game - Selkirk were deserved victors, but the pivotal moments were their score directly from the restart after we took a 5-3 and the ref’s yellow card decision immediately after half time...games change in seconds and the 2 moments above cost us a total of 17 points!

On the positive side, our possession play was good and we proved we are an 80 minute side - things we will look to today to put one over Cartha...

A bit of a reshuffle of the squad for this week’s game featuring an unchanged front row of Scott Leggate, Ross McQueen and Greg Richardson. Taz McLaughlin joins Craig Inglis in the Boiler house with Gregor Brodie, Scott White and Gareth Jones the breakaway trio.

A bench of Darren Carr, Scott Alexander and Jack Bruce will impact when they are given their chance.

Hugo Crush and Owen McLeish are once more the half backs, Mark Wallace and Ross Jamieson a nice blend in the centre with Max Priestly, Ben Plant and Craig Skilling forming the back 3.

Ally Sinclair and David Milne complete a 20 man squad who are keen to get our season going...don’t miss the action today!

The Toos are looking forward to action against Melrose at home.

Sadly player numbers meant we again had to forfeit the 1927’s game away to Dumfries.

Good luck to all Bulls this weekend.

Please get out & support your team!

It makes all he difference to the guys.
