Congratulations to Aaron Burgess, Calum Ferrie, Jamie Thorpe and Euan Bannan who have been selected to join Glasgow Warriors Academy after competing in the FORSOC West Academy throughout the summer.

The boys will train with Glasgow Warriors and shall play games in October against Edinburgh, Saracens and Cardiff. This is a fantastic achievement and opportunity for the players to progress through to Scotland U16 squad.

Just reward for the effort, dedication and mature way they have handled themselves whilst proudly wearing their Hamilton colours. Whilst we as a club have in the past had a number of players make it to Glasgow squads I believe this is the first time we have ever had 4 players from the one team.

Stephen Meenagh, Club Development Officer commented: "It is great to see 4 of our players make it through to the Glasgow set up. Credit to the boys hard work and commitment and the quality of our Hamilton coaches. We are hoping to see these numbers rise going forward after the launch of our Bulls Academy which starts in September."
