Head Coach, David Gemmell, is once again joined by Alex Reid & Steven Anderson for a 6th consecutive season together. A new recruit to the coaching team is Alan Falconer, who steps in to replace Richard 'Pepsi' Maxton who is taking some time-out from rugby. Al is our club’s Development Officer and is currently undertaking his Level 3 UKCC Coaching qualification. Al is keen to utilise his skills and knowledge of the game to help our senior players progress as well as continue to strengthen links between senior and youth section. His main focus however, will be to make us a competitive unit at set-piece on our return to National 1.

The senior coaching team will be supported by developing coaches Ross ‘Plendy’ Bryan & Jonny Smith. This will be Plendy's second year helping the coaching team as a player/coach. Jonny is one of our youth coaches who has developed through our Coaching Academy. He has coached for several years at youth level, currently holding a Level 2 UKCC Coach qualification and recently won Hamilton Sports Council Coach of the Year Award. Jonny is looking forward to challenging himself at the senior level of the game and is welcomed to the team along with Plendy.

We are also pleased to announce that the Player Council remains the same as last year, giving the players an opportunity to build on the experience of last season and this players group will add valuable support to the coaching team.
