Hamilton awarded for its outstanding commitment to community and youth development

Last month we hosted 3 fantastic 'Lions Breakfast with the Bulls' events to cheer the British & Irish Lions onto a series draw with the All Blacks. The clubhouse was decorated with Lions flags, balloons and posters for the 3 tests thanks to the club applying and winning a breakfast pack via the British & Irish Lions.

The breakfast pack was designed to help drive recruitment by welcoming new and existing players and supporters into our club and celebrating the sport of rugby.

The winning doesn't stop there though...

Hamilton Bulls were selected with the help of the SRU, to receive elite-level Rhino Rugby training equipment used by the 2017 British & Irish Lions squad during training camps prior to their departure for New Zealand.

This award was based on the Lions ‘All For One’ ethos of Community, Friendship, Integrity, and Respect as well as our outstanding commitment to community and youth development.

As the only club in Scotland to be chosen to receive the Lions training kit, it goes to show that all the hard work by everyone at Hamilton Rugby Club both on and off the park is being recognised!
