A look at how one of our former players is getting on since leaving the Bulls and settling back home overseas.

In each article, we ask the player to let us know their memories of Hamilton Rugby Club and what they are currently doing on and off the pitch...

Tim Dimech was a young South African student over on holiday and joined the club due to a referral from Vincent Davidson. He played, at Laigh Bent, as a Scrumhalf from August 2008 through to December 2008.

What are your highlights and memories of Hamilton Rugby Club?
In a muddy and wet home game against Biggar, we got a penalty in our half and I tapped and broke through only to start slipping in the mud and get reeled in by a prop 22m out from the try line. More of a low light I guess!!!

I recall a player, I think it was Adam, but we cut his hair for being late to the bus for an away game. Had lots of memories from the 'Talent Show', the Tea Club and great after practice chow with the lads.

What's going on at the moment on and off the field?
I played a few games for the University of Cape Town Internal League, but after being very injury prone, 6-down touch rugby and surfing has taken over.

I am currently working in sunny Cape Town, South Africa but always remember my welcoming and friendly Bulls family.

Thanks for the update Tim and remember that you always have a home at the Bulls.
