Looking at how our former players are getting on since leaving the Bulls and setting up home overseas.

In each article, we ask the player to let us know their memories of Hamilton Rugby Club and what they are currently doing on and off the pitch...

This time we hear from Chris Stannage who left the club in 2015.

What are your highlights and memories of Hamilton Rugby Club?
I joined Hamilton rugby club at 4 years old after Jim Browning gave me a ball and a Hamilton jersey. I played through the age grades before my 1st XV debut against Dumfries when I was 17.
Winning the 'Try of the Season' was an incredible achievement but nothing compares to beating Dalziel away to secure promotion to Prem 2.
The 7s season in 2010 was pretty special as well; walking away from every tournament with some silverware.

What's going on at the moment on and off the field?
Since coming to Oz I've played for Casuarina Cougars and Gympie Hammers and am now looking for my next club in Melbourne. I'm glad that I got to run out for the Bulls before I left Scotland 2 years ago and was fortunate to be on the winning side for all 7 of my last games with the club.

Here's hoping to continue that form if I come back.

Thanks for the info Chris and you always have a home at the Bulls.
