THE BULLS BONUS BOND
As you are no doubt aware, the Club is continually striving to improve its facilities, player development and ultimately its standing within Scottish rugby circles.
This vision, as you can well imagine, requires substantial funding, and four years ago we introduced The BULLS BONUS BOND as a means of delivering extra income. For an annual subscription of £120, payable in cash, by cheque or by standing order of 12 monthly payments of £10, contributing members take part in a monthly prize draw.
On the final Saturday (or on another day as identified) each month, a draw is conducted in the clubhouse Prize monies accounting for 50% of the total cash taken - together with various spot and consolation prizes.
Each year since the bond was introduced we have paid out approximately £3.5k in prize money, a number of bottles as consolation prizes and of course the development fund has benefited by a like amount . Providing finance for the continuing development of sporting and social activities for all age groups within the community.
As we go now enter our fifth year numbers have dropped because of turnover of the original membership and exisisting members not renewing their Direct Debits, standing orders or cash agreements. If this Bond is to continue to be as successful as it has been it is essential we increase the number of members taking part providing larger prizes and of more money into the fund to support our activities. In particular the further development of the young players coming through into senior rugby and the continued support of the post of a community development officer.

The completed standing order mandate should be sent to your bank. The remainder of the form plus your payment if paying by cheque or cash should be returned to myself, any committee member or directly to the clubhouse. Please reply as soon as possible and you will be entered in the next available monthly draw.
