U18s unable to make it 3 trophy wins in a row...

Commiserations to the players and coaches of the U18s in their loss to Dalziel this evening in the West Shield Final.  After picking up trophies at Murrayfield and Cumbernauld over the last week, and winning a semi final on Saturday, tonight's game was always going to be a challenge in terms of fitness and endurance.

The lads played well in what was a tough match against our oldest rivals at Dalziel Park.  There was little separating the teams for the first quarter, untill a series of early replacements through injury disrupted the rythm of Hamilton's play - particularly in defence.  As a result the Bulls found themselves playing catch-up for most of the match against a Dalziel squad who managed to sustain pressure for the full 70 minutes.

Hamilton's Arron Partridge picked up the man of the match after scoring a hat trick.  The young Bulls collected their medals from Scotland Internationalist Sean Lamont....
