Hamilton added to their impressive streak of 15 home wins with a fantastic performance against National 1 outfit Aberdeen Grammar on Saturday.  Throughout this dramatic encounter, which finished with a 48-41 win for the Bulls, the crowd was treated to a exciting display of attacking rugby from both sides – producing 13 tries over the course of 80 minutes.

As odd as it might sound the Bulls went into this match looking to restore some pride after the previous week’s “disappointing” 56-5 away win against Livingston.  Despite the scoreline, both coaches and players were in agreement that the Bulls' performance in that match had been somewhat lacklustre- and that they need to become more consistent and clinical in closing out games if they aspire to compete at a higher level.  In reality, even with that as motivation, the chances of overcoming their Aberdonian visitors, who this time last year were competing in the premiership, were felt to be slim.  To add to the challenge, 1st XV regulars Andy Hill, Richard Maxton, David McGrath, Craig Inglis and Ross Inglis were all unavailable.
